Honda motorcycle driver and two-wheeler driver Amanda Burchard has been given a license to drive a motorcycle, the California Highway Patrol announced Monday.
Burchard is the second person to receive a motorcycle license in California since July, and the first person to complete the two-year process.
The license will allow her to drive the bike at night, while on weekends and in the snow, the CHP said.
Borrowing a motorcycle has become easier since California legalized the practice in 2014.
Last year, a California judge ruled that the motorcycle license should be available to people who can’t drive a car because they don’t have a license.
